Three identical 2022 Spartan Star series custom pumpers with a 750-gallon water tank and a 1500 gallons per minute (gpm) pump. Each Engine carries a variety of hoses including 1¾" and 2.5" attack lines and 5" supply hose. For all fire alarm activations and confirmed fires, engines 1 and 2 are first due from their respective stations, with additional resources being activated as needed.
2018 Spartan/Rescue One. R5 is first due for all motor vehicle accidents and rescue calls. R5 is also the FAST team response apparatus when providing mutual aid to neighboring departments. On board is a Dual Amkus Super Simo hydraulic pump which is set up with four pre-connected tools for quick deployment on extrication operations. R5 is like a large toolbox on wheels, allowing Getzville to bring specialized equipment while answering various types of rescue calls.
2003 American LaFrance LTI 100-foot rear mount platform arial and was recently refurbished in 2021. L6 is second due from Station 1 for all fire alarms and confirmed structure fires and is first due for motor vehicle accidents. Additionally, L6 is the FAST team response apparatus for Sothern Niagara County. On board L6 is a set of Amkus ion battery powered extrication tools and a 10-gallon Enforcer CAF’s system.
2016 Chevy Suburban carries BLS EMS equipment including an AED; R7-1 is first due on all EMS calls from Station 2.
2006 Ford which carries our water rescue equipment and is first due from Station 1 for all water related emergencies. Equipment carried on this vehicle includes surface water rescue equipment and SCUBA gear for underwater rescue and recovery operations. Our dive team works jointly with the Ellicott Creek Volunteer Fire Company to provide assistance to agencies throughout Erie and Niagara County.
2021 Chevy Tahoes function as command vehicles that are usually first on scene to most incidents. In addition to carrying basic fire equipment, they are also NYS certified to carry standard EMS equipment including an AED.
2023 CanAm Side-by-side utility vehicle has an 80-gallon fire suppression pump with foam capabilities. This vehicle will be equipped with tracks for the winter season and tires the rest of the year. This vehicle will be used for specialty hazard emergencies.
