High Angle Rescue
The role of the high angle rescue team is to provide the means to safely rescue people from the most precarious of situations. Being trapped on scaffolding at a construction site, stuck on a roof, or in a ravine when a medical emergency occurs requires special care for the patients. This is where the high angle rescue team makes their value known. These highly trained members are required to think quickly to create a means to assist and remove the patient from where they are stuck. Using ropes and other rigging like mountain climbers they are able to make a tough situation easier. The main response vehicles for this team are Rescue 5 followed by what ever trucks are requested by the incident commander based on where the call takes place.
